Welcome to Guitar Theory & Technique
You will be given a strong education in guitar playing and music theory. With guided exercises in guitar performance and music notation, you will confidently be able to read music charts and perform songs of any genre on the guitar, plus be able to create your own songs.

An introduction to playing guitar and music reading. Develop proper hand and finger placement on the fretboard and perform melodic phrases. Learn the structure of meters, intervals, major and minor scales, key signatures, and triad chords.
2. Rhythm Guitar & Music Harmony

Introduction to playing chord progressions on guitar. In depth theory of chord construction and diatonic harmony. Classes will focus on developing musical rhythm, guitar accompaniment, and sight reading

Introduction to playing guitar solos. In depth theory of guitar scales for soloing. Classes will focus on musical expression, memorization, and performance.
Location: New York, NY
All classes are presented in person at our Manhattan, NY or Brooklyn, NY based workshop. Each class is divided in groups of 5-12 students. This is the perfect environment for students in small group gatherings to learn guitar together. Creating an atmosphere that inspires active demonstration and participation.
